Ingleton Wood initially tendered for a condition survey and 10-year asset management plan for Beths Grammar School. Following our successful appointment we began to have conversations with the school surrounding funding initiatives which culminated in a bid being submitted to the Education Funding Agency for a new main entrance and administration wing, freeing up space in the main school for expansion
The driver for this project was not just overcrowding but also a need for the school to rectify safeguarding issues in respect of the main entrance and reception areas.
The £1m investment was carried out over two phases, the first phase included the demolition of the former caretaker’s house and construction of a new entrance road. The second phase involved the construction of a new main reception with administration and senior staff offices. The build also included meeting rooms, archive rooms, the schools medical room and ancillary accommodation.
Ingleton wood provided multi-disciplinary services across all disciplines from project conception to completion.
