Ingleton Wood were appointed directly to work with a global applied genomics technology company, to design and deliver the reconfiguration and fit out of their CL2 Laboratory, a new meeting space and write up area at Chesterford Research Park, Cambridge.
The project included a full re-design for the Lab layout and write up spaces, whilst also upgrading existing spaces to allow economic flow through the suite from write up to laboratory. Works included addition of fume cupboards and associated mechanical plant.
The design team worked with the global facilities teams and laboratory teams to define the brief and develop the design from concept through to delivery on site.
Following contract awarded, we worked collaboratively with both client and contractor to deliver the project.
The project was completed under a single phase. Our services included architecture, mechanical & electrical design and CDM services.
